Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch marks Tinker Bell’s second Story Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley’s Wishblossom Ranch expansion. After obtaining Cruella’s second Crystal Key during The Skunk Rebellion quest, the quest pivots to returning to the Wishblossom Heart to assist Tinker Bell and continue the search for the missing horses.
What you’ll do
- Bring Glamour Gulch’s Crystal Key to Tinker Bell in the Wishblossom Heart.
- Speak with Tinker Bell and enter the Second Crystal Cavern.
- Interact with the Lever, follow the scent trail, and lower the Elevator Platform.
- Lower the Elevator Platform to bridge the gap for a jump.
- Remove the three Decay Crystals affecting the Wishblossom: in the Pink Area, Green Area, and Blue Area.
- Talk to the Ambition Wishblossom and use Khan to exit the Cavern.
Getting started: bring the Crystal Key to Tinker Bell
After unlocking Cruella and welcoming her to the Ranch in The Skunk Rebellion, she grants the second Crystal Key, triggering Tinker Bell’s Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch quest. Begin by delivering Glamour Gulch’s Crystal Key to Tinker Bell, located in the Wishblossom Heart—this follows the completion of the first cavern trial in Crystal Cavern: Wishing Alps. The map marks the correct location.
Return to Wishblossom Heart and locate Tinker Bell by the steps beside the Hope Wishblossom in the main cavern area. Interact with her to hand over the Crystal Key, which has a distinctive red, octagonal design.
Talk to Tinker Bell and enter the Second Crystal Cavern
Next, accompany Tinker Bell to the Glamour Gulch Crystal Cavern entrance just around the corner to the left. Speak with Tinker Bell again; she uses the key to summon a set of stairs leading to the Glamour Gulch Crystal Cavern—the second cavern. Ascend the stairs and choose Enter to begin.
Horse switching matters: knowing how to switch horses is crucial here because you’ll need to swap between mounts for various puzzles and to bypass horse-specific obstacles. On PC, press N to open the horse selection menu and choose your mount.
Interact with the Lever, follow the Scent Trail, and lower the Elevator Platform
Inside the second cavern, summon or switch to Maximus to leap the initial gap by galloping. Proceed up the stairs into the next area where a green chest sits by a lamppost on the right; it contains a Horse Tack Bag.
Opening the Horse Tack Bag isn’t required for progression but yields the Regal Bridle for extra customization.
To advance, mount Maximus again and figure out how to lower the Elevator Platform so Maximus can jump across the gap. The steps are:
- While riding Maximus, interact with the Lever mounted on the wooden post to pick up a scent trail—visible as red smoke.
- Follow the scent trail around the corner to locate a ground-level lever handle. Pick it up and return to the post with the lever.
- Interact with the post to transfer the Lever Handle into your inventory, then interact with the Lever Handle to lower the platform.
Cross and reach the Ambition Wishblossom
With the platform lowered, gallop across the gap on Maximus to the opposite side and proceed down the stairs into the next area where the Ambition Wishblossom awaits. Its roots are affected by Decay Crystals, rendering it unable to speak until the crystals are removed.
Remove the three Decay Crystals from the Wishblossom’s roots:
- Blue Area: located on a mezzanine near the entrance.
- Green Area: in the flooded green-section to the right.
- Pink Area: behind clutter near the elevator to the left.
Optional order tips: starting with the Pink Area, then Green, and finally Blue often feels natural, but any order works.
Pink Area: find and destroy the first crystal
Move past the raised drawbridge left of the Wishblossom and along the right until you reach the cluttered elevator filled with barrels next to a lever handle. Interact with the handle to raise the elevator. While riding Maximus, sprint and jump across the gap to reach the Decay Crystal, then destroy it with your mounted horse.
Green Area: solve a puzzle to reveal and destroy the crystal
Backtrack across the gap on Maximus and head left into the Green Area inside the leaf-filled tunnel. To access the crystal, you must solve a pressure-plate puzzle:
- While riding a horse, use your ability to Tap to Reveal to interact with the wooden panel and spring the sequence.
- Return to the stone block and reset the puzzle if needed by tapping to reveal again.
- Push the stone block to align pathways and open the wooden door. Enter to find and destroy the next Decay Crystal.
Blue Area: access and complete the final steps
If you prefer not to go back through Pink, switch to Maximus here and jump the small river to reach a zone adjacent to the Ambition Wishblossom. Following the scent trail, cross the next gap to discover a Lever Handle for access to the Blue Area.
Blue Area sequence involves lowering a drawbridge and navigating a water-filled and tunnel maze with Tap to Reveal interactions. After crossing the water and entering the tunnel, you’ll reach another green chest containing the Regal Horsepack inside a Horse Tack Bag.
Cross additional gaps with Maximus and locate the final Decay Crystal beside the elevator. Destroy it, then ride the elevator back down.
Talk to the Ambition Wishblossom and exit with Khan
Having eliminated all three Decay Crystals, speak with the Ambition Wishblossom. It will reward Khan, the new unlockable horse. After obtaining Khan, ride him to exit the cavern; Khan’s special ability is to break barricades.
Proceed along the path, destroying three more wooden barriers to reach the cavern exit.
Exiting and concluding
Leaving the Crystal Cavern returns players to the Wishblossom Heart. Report back to Tinker Bell to share how the quest unfolded. Once the conversation ends, Crystal Caverns: Glamour Gulch is complete, and the next Wishblossom Ranch Story Quest, Bounce Up, Never Down, becomes available.
